Sanitation & Recycling
The City of Ellsworth contracts with The Trash Man, an outside waste management company for solid waste collection and recycling. Everyone within the City limits is required to utilize garbage collection and all residents within City limits are required to have recycling collection.
Most trash when properly bundled and/or contained, can be disposed of at your curbside on your regular garbage pickup days.
Garbage and recycling is picked up every Friday. In the event of a weekday holiday, trash services will be delayed one day. For example, if Monday is a national holiday, your normal Friday service will be delayed until Saturday. You may view these observed holidays at The Trash Man's website listed below.
You may set up an account by contacting The Trash Man of Webster City, or may purchase their purchase bags at City Hall or Kum and Go in Ellsworth. For more specific garbage or recycling questions, you may contact The Trash Man at 515-832-5516 or visit their website at: www.thetrashmanwebstercity.com
